Querido Quem quer que a ame a seguir,

Antes de a fazeres apaixonar-se por ti, tens de saber algumas coisas. E também precisa de estar pronto para fazer algumas coisas. Também precisas de te preparar para algumas coisas, uma vez que ela não é como as outras.

She’s not like other girls and loving her won’t be like anything you’ve experienced so far. Someone needs to prepare you for this—it might as well be me.

See, this girl you want, she’s been through a lot in her life. She’s been bruised too many times. She’s been taken for granted. She’s been broken as well.

Continuou a dar tudo de si em cada tentativa seguinte, na esperança de que, desta vez, as coisas tomassem o rumo certo. Mas, de cada vez, sofria um novo desgosto.

As pessoas que a deviam ter amado quebraram-na. As pessoas que deveriam ter estado presentes abandonaram-na. Aqueles que deveriam ter estado lá escolheram não o fazer.

She’s been disappointed one too many times.

Nunca esperou das pessoas coisas extraordinárias. Só esperava coisas que merecia. Na sua vida, ela esperava receber pelo menos tanto quanto dava. Mas, aparentemente, isso era pedir demasiado.

One would think that after too many disappointments she’d start losing hope in everything. But she didn’t.

She’s been let down so many times.

Others made promises that they had no intentions of keeping. They just wanted to use her kindness and made her believe that they’re willing to do everything for her like she was willing to do for them.

But even that didn’t change her.

She knew that everything she’s been through in her life was a lesson and she always watches for the signs carefully, trying to read what the universe is trying to teach her.

She never gave up on love or on loving. She never got tired of the love she felt deep within and she’s been walking on this Earth hoping to find someone who’s going to love her right.

Mas ela jurou não dar o seu amor sem mais nem menos. Jurou guardá-lo para quem realmente o merecesse.

Ela adora a direita.

In her loving, there is no such thing as half-assed love. Whenever she loves, she gives it all in. She doesn’t hold back and she’s always honest. With her, you’ll always know where you stand.

Perhaps you’ll need to try harder than you’ve ever tried. Perhaps you’ll want to give up on winning her over at times. But don’t do it. You’ll be glad you stuck by her side later.

Because if you stay and choose to fit, if you choose to be the one to knock her walls down and if you show her you’ll be there even in the darkest days, she’ll also choose to love you.

She’ll choose to let go and to stop seeing you through the prism of those who hurt her before.

And once she does that, she’ll accept you the way you are. She’ll choose to love you unconditionally and she’ll choose to make you feel like you’re the only man in this world.

Once she lets go, you’ll see what it means to have a good girl fall for you. You’ll see how it feels to be accepted completely by another human being and you’ll see what it feels to be loved just the way you are. And you’ll never want to lose that.
