It’s a fact that guys are not as into feelings as women are. They won’t break down and open up to you, not even after you’ve been together for quite some time.
They would rather keep their mouth shut and hope you’ll get what they are thinking.

You could say that men appreciate respect even more than love itself. If you don’t respect him and what he really is, then he will think that you don’t even care and so what’s the point in staying together?
If you don’t care about his career, his hobbies or the people he hangs out with, you don’t respect him.
You are partners in crime and if you don’t support each other and show mutual respect, then how can you go together through life?
Will it be possible to solve the problems that are waiting for you together if you don’t respect each other? This is what he wants the most, but will never tell you.
2. A true partner
He wants to have you by his side to do things he likes with him. He will never try to convince you to do something with him because, naturally, you would resist even more.

He wants someone to talk to about the things he likes and he wants you to understand when he needs his space so that you back down and leave him to solve things himself.

Your man will open up to you completely if you make sure he feels safe with you. You need to show him that you care about your relationship like he does.
You need to show him that you are in it for the long haul, that he is not just some casual thing, but the real deal.
He will feel secure and therefore loved when you touch him and show him intimacy. He will feel secure when you stand by his side for better or for worse.
He will feel secure when you support him and the things he does. He will feel secure when you show him you trust him.
