This is not a time for cowards. This is not the time to give up on love. This is the time to be brave.
It’s the time to believe in love. Believe that it will find you someday and everything will make sense.
All the rough patches you had, all those past loves, rejections, failed crushes, all that heartache and pain, all those sleepless nights, lousy mornings and unbearable days—they will all waste away when you find yourself in the right arms.
Now, you might be questioning the existence of love. You might doubt that the day when you will find love will never come.
And all you need to do in these hard times is to have patience and a little bit of faith that everything will work out for the best.

So, throw away all those unrealistic ideas about what he should look like, and how he should behave. Notice the difference between the real deal and somebody who is wasting your time.
The easiest way to do that is by having standards. You won’t allow toxicity and maltreatment in your life.
You won’t settle for somebody who treats you like you are unworthy. That’s in the past and ‘the one’ would never act like that.
‘The one’ will not be all you imagined; he will be perfectly imperfect and more than you could ever wish for. He won’t read your mind and he won’t do things as you picture them but he will do it his way and it will be outstanding.
You will recognize him because he will have kindness within him. He will be loving and caring.
He will also annoy you at times with stupid small things but in the sweetest way possible. He will sometimes forget things that you would want him to remember but he will compensate for those times with wonderful things and leave you speechless.
He’ll be perfectly imperfect and he’ll be all yours.
All the difficulties you’ve been through, all the love disappointments, he’ll make into distant memories. He’ll concentrate on putting a smile on your face and be the one to wipe your tears while trying his best not to be the one who put them there.
He will love you so tenderly and that will be all that matters.
He will know how to love and he won’t have any problem with reciprocating everything you give him. In his humility, you will see that he is grateful to have you as much as you are of having him.
You’ll never have to beg for his time, affection or attention—he will give it freely. From where he stands, to do so will be the most natural thing in the world.
One day you will meet him and find sense in all the mess you’ve been through. You’ll realize it was all for something.
It was all for him to be able to love, appreciate and cherish you for the person you are today, for the person you are yet to become.
So, the best thing you can do right now is realize one simple truth: ‘ Good things take time.’ Be brave, be patient and wait for ‘the one’ who’ll make sense of it all.
