Siempre pensé que esperar a alguien era la prueba definitiva del amor. Pero, cuando tu amor consiste solo en esperar, sabes que no vas por buen camino.
Parece que todo lo que haces es esperar. Esperas a que cambie de opinión. Esperas a que se haga hombre. Esperas a que entre en razón. Esperas a que se dé cuenta de lo mucho que le quieres.
Esperas a que se dé cuenta de que también te quiere, de que tiene miedo. Esperas a que llegue el momento. Esperas un milagro. Esperas y te cansas de esperar.
Lo único que se gana con esperar pacientemente es tiempo perdido. Pueden pasar meses o incluso años hasta que te das cuenta de que estás esperando a alguien que nunca llegará.
Somebody who really doesn’t want to catch up.
Hay personas que te hacen esperar y otras a las que eliges esperar.
Los que te hacen esperar no suelen ser más que manipuladores egocéntricos que están explorando sus opciones mientras te mantienen cerca.
Te dan lo justo para que aguantes, un mensaje o una llamada de vez en cuando, pero nunca demasiado para que sientas que están ahí de verdad.
Así que te acostumbras y te conformas con las migajas de atención que te sirven.
Then, there are those you choose to wait for. They hurt the most because by waiting for them, you are deliberately hurting yourself. It’s completely your choice to be patient and hopeful.

Esperar a alguien significa no dar una oportunidad a otra persona. A alguien que te daría todo lo que quieres de inmediato.
In the end, it’s all about you. You have to love and respect yourself enough and not wait for anything or anybody.
Tienes que ser tú la que prefiera estar sola a pasar su tiempo esperando a alguien que quizá nunca llegue.
You are the only one who can control your life. Everything is about your choices. You chose to wait. You chose to delude yourself that something is there when it really isn’t.
En el fondo, sabes que no merece la pena esperar y que es muy poco probable que las cosas cambien.

Love doesn’t keep you waiting. If it’s real, you will both be on the same page at exactly the same time.
