Mientras estabas allí fingiendo que no te importaba, ella te quería sinceramente y desde el fondo de su corazón. Nunca ocultó sus verdaderos sentimientos.

As if she could anyway. It was written all over her face and it was carved in all her actions how much she loved you. And you? You seemed like you didn’t care.

Cuando la necesitabas, siempre estaba ahí para ti.

Nunca tuvo problemas en dejarlo todo y correr a salvarte. No tenía ningún problema en dejar de lado a sus amigos para estar ahí y animarte cuando te sentías mal.

She was your person, the one who always found the right words in the right moments. She made it her life’s mission to be there for you whenever you needed her.

She never cared about herself; as long as you were happy, she was happy as well. She tied her happiness to yours, that’s lo mucho que se preocupaba por ti.

Cuando todos te dieron la espalda, ella se quedó a tu lado.

Nunca le importaron tus defectos ni tus errores. Intentaba mirar más allá y encontrar algo bueno en ti.

Cuando la gente se cansaba de tu comportamiento de mierda o de tus malos tratos, ella se quedaba porque tenía la esperanza de que te esperaran días más brillantes y de que quizá con el tiempo podrías cambiar.

Así que se quedó a tu lado, para demostrarte que era tu verdadera amiga, para demostrarte que siempre podías contar con ella.

 

While you didn’t care what she thought of you, she tried so hard to be perfect for you.

Nunca miraste atrás. No te detuviste ni un segundo a pensar en cómo tus acciones afectarían a esa chica que se esforzaba tanto por ser perfecta para ti.

You did your own thing, you behaved as it pleased you and she always got treated based on how your day was; if it was bad, you’d make sure she went down too, and if it was good, you never for a second thought of sharing it with her.

Lo peor de todo era que cuanto menos te importaba, más lo intentaba ella. Cuanto más le dabas la espalda, más intentaba que te fijaras en ella.

She loved you so much that she was willing to become someone else just so she’d get to keep you. Little did she know, you can’t keep someone who was never yours to begin with.

That’s just how she was and she couldn’t help herself. She gave you the best of her, hoping that one day she would get the best of you as well.

Pero, en vez de eso, elegiste jugar el papel de un fuckboy y que no le importara. Y al final, se cansó de darlo todo y no recibir nada a cambio.
