I worked so hard and so long to become a woman I am today, and that’s why the last thing I need is a man who treats me like I am not good enough.
I deserve more than to be strung along. I deserve to be more than someone’s back-up plan or second choice.

I don’t want to be just your friend when you introduce me to someone when both of us know that I am so much more.
I want labels. I want to hear you say that I am your girlfriend. I don’t want to fight with your commitment fears and your immature way.If you can’t man up then leave me be.
I don’t need you to text me 24/7 or to tell me your every move. You have your own life to live as I do mine and I respect that.
But I won’t settle for getting a replay 6 hours later or even a few days.
I don’t want to feel like I slipped your mind and that I don’t mean that much to you. If you care… show me with deeds, not with words.
I want you to open up to me and be honest about everything. I don’t want you to lie to me without flinching. Whether the news is good or bad, I want to know it all.
I want you to show up. I am not there to be at your convenience. I am not the one you can cancel plans for the last minute because you find something better to do.
I refuse to be your doormat.
I want you to plan dates ahead. I want to see you thought of me while we were away and you want to do something nice for me.
I don’t want to watch my words and think if something I say will scare you off. I want to be able to talk about my plans for the future. I also want to hear your plans and I want them to include me.
I don’t want you to be someone who can’t tell me if he is going to go to the movies next Saturday with me because he doesn’t plan on sticking around that long. I don’t want a love that’s fleeting; I want the love that stays.
I want efforts, not excuses I am worthy of them. I deserve someone who goes an extra mile for me.
