You were giving all of yourself and more to the man you love, and he didn’t appreciate it.

Because he’s not ready for any of it!

And don’t you dare think that you’re not good enough because the only truth is that you’ll never be good enough for the man who is not ready!
Even if you give him everything that he’s asked for, it will never be enough.
If you give him your hand, he will ask for your both arms, and he will never thank you for them.
He will never acknowledge any of your efforts because his selfishness is not letting him think about anyone other than himself.
You could offer the best of yourself to him, and it still won’t be good enough because he’s not the right person for you!
He’s not the one you should waste your time on, and you know it, too.
The only reason you didn’t give up on him is because you believed that he will change. But, he didn’t. And you know that he never will.
No matter how many chances you give him, you’ll never be good enough for him to decide to change.
No matter how many times you forgive him, you’ll never be good enough for him to decide to stop hurting you. And do you know why?
Because he’s unwilling to change. Because he couldn’t give less of a shit for how you are feeling and how his actions are making you feel.
I know it sounds harsh, but it’s the sole, bare truth. You’ll never be good enough for the man who is not ready to accept the consequences of his actions.
You could ignore all of his mistakes and keep forgiving them blindly, and you still wouldn’t be good enough for him because you’ll never be good enough for the man who is not willing to work on himself.
So, don’t even try to be good enough for the man who is not good enough for you!
Don’t even try to go out of your way to please him because he’ll never bother doing the same for you.
Don’t even try giving him your pure love when you know that all you’ll get in return is his toxic one.
You’re not the one who is responsible for his happiness, so don’t you even try persuading him that you’re the right one for him.
The only person you have to persuade of something is yourself.
You have to understand that in his eyes, you’ll never be good enough no matter what you say and no matter what you do.
And you have to understand that he doesn’t deserve any of love and attention!
So, stop wasting your time on the man who will never be able to reciprocate.

Wait for the one who will show you how much he appreciates your effort. Wait for the one who will never make you question anything.
Wait for the one who will fight for you with all of his body and heart.
