I hate to see you like this, all torn up because of some guy who is unworthy of someone as special as you are. If you could see what I see, you would realize that he doesn’t deserve your time of day, let alone your heart.
I know it’s not easy to let go of him, even though deep down I know you feel you should. You invested so much time and energy into your relationship. You have given him all of you and he repaid you with all those tears rolling down your face.
I hate that he is giving you mediocre love when you should have something out of this world. I hate that he is making you more sad than happy all the time. I hate that every time you get your hopes up when you think he has changed, he fails you even more. Wake up my dearest, he is not the man for you.
Love shouldn’t feel like torture. Love shouldn’t hurt. You shouldn’t settle for someone who gives you any less than you are giving him. Take a step back and see him for who he really is.
His words don’t match his actions. He says he loves you, he cares for you and that he would do anything to make you realize that. But he never does. He stays the same. His monologues and persuasion skills are getting better and better. Pay attention to what he does, not what he says. His words are cheap.
He is there when he needs you, but where is he when you need him? He knows you are going to listen and offer some meaningful advice. He knows he has you to rely on when everything is going downhill and his life becomes a complete mess. But where is he when you are going through your pain? He might occasionally swoop in to save the day but more often than not, he is nowhere to be found.
He knows that you’ll be there no matter what, and he is taking you for granted. No matter how bad his behavior gets, or how disrespectful and unreliable he is, he always counts on you being there. That’s why he sees no risk in hurting you more and more every time. He knows that you are going to find it in your heart to forgive him no matter what. So, he is repeating the same old patterns over and over again.
He made you cry more times that you can count. I know relationships are hard work and not everything is rainbows and butterflies, but it doesn’t have to be so hard and gloomy all the time. You used to be so happy and radiant all on your own. But I don’t see that anymore. He has emotionally drained you.
All of our conversations these days are revolving around what he has done this time. It’s always bad and you are upset and sad all the time. I wish you could realize that you are better off without him, that he is just making your life a living hell. Wake up my dearest, he is not the man for you.
You deserve someone better. You deserve a man who will wipe away all the tears from that beautiful face of yours and do his best to put a smile back on it. You deserve a man who will make it his life’s mission to build a happy relationship with you.
You deserve someone selfless. Someone who won’t put his needs in front of yours. Someone who will know how to give all of him in return. Someone who will provide you with the trust, respect, and love you are giving him. Someone who knows how to reciprocate and is grateful for all you are giving him. Someone who will never take you for granted.
You deserve someone who will stand behind his every word. Someone who isn’t going to tell you one story one day and something completely different the next. Someone you can rely on. Someone honest and kind. Someone you can trust. Someone who will never look down on you and who will make you feel like you are more than enough.
You deserve someone who will take care of you. Don’t get me wrong, I know you are not a baby and that you can take care of yourself, but I mean someone who will see all the burden you are carrying. Someone who will help you carry it and make it a little less heavy. Someone who will be there. Someone whose hug can heal you. Someone who will spoil and pamper you because he will see how tired you are and someone who loves nothing more than seeing you sparkling with joy.
You deserve someone whose heart is as big as yours. Someone who loves with a love so tender that he would never even think of hurting you. Someone who is genuinely kind and a good person above all. Someone with a soul as pure as yours is.
So, please wake up my dearest, the man you are holding on so tightly to is not the man for you. You wasted your precious time waiting for him to change, please don’t lose a second more. He will always stay the same. He will always find new ways to disappoint you. You deserve to be happy and radiant again. You deserve someone better.
