When you marry the person you love, just know their family comes in a package with them. And no, you can’t return this one back to the post office.
Navigating a relationship with your partner’s family can be tough. Sometimes everything seems lovely and everyone’s happy. Other times you want to rip your hair off and scream your lungs out. But you know, it is what it is.
However, looking at these posts, I think some people definitely have it worse than others! Who knows, maybe at the end of this article, you’ll be grateful for your in-laws and realize they’re not as bad as you thought!

This woman thinks it’s completely fine to come to the wedding in her own wedding dress. When her daughter-in-law didn’t agree, she had a lot to say.
2. A woman disappointed by the gift, wants to teach her daughter-in-law a lesson
Imagine spending hours working on your DIY project for someone, just for them to say they don’t appreciate it because you bought materials with a gift card they gave you!
Since when is a gift card a better and more thoughtful present than hand-made anything?!
3. Brother-in-law transformed his room into a dumpster
Living with your in-laws is not a fun experience most of the time. However, some people definitely take the cake when it comes to being the filthiest roommate!
4. Called out because of wearing the wedding dress she wanted
Every woman dreams of her wedding and the perfect wedding dress. We don’t expect others to decide what we should wear on our important day, do we?
Imagine the feeling of this woman when she was told she disappointed her in-laws because her wedding dress wasn’t in blush color.
5. A woman doesn’t let her family use the kitchen outside of the set schedule
Now this is some crazy level of controlling, don’t you agree? Not allowing your family to take milk for your grandchild because their time for using the kitchen has passed? First of all, who in their right mind makes the schedule for when the kitchen can be used in the first place?

Some people are just ready for everything to make someone’s life harder. These in-laws didn’t like their daughter-in-law because they wanted their son to marry someone rich. Even though they didn’t attend the wedding, they hired someone to ruin it for them! The audacity!

Welcoming family into your home can be a super fun experience! I mean, if it lasts for a couple of days…and if they don’t leave your place looking like a fraternity house.

I am so glad we’re not living in an era of a global pandemic anymore because some people just don’t know how to act right! I thought it was common sense to avoid others when you have any kind of infection or flu.
9. After 12 years, his mother still doesn’t acknowledge his wife
It’s always small things like this that tell you loud and clear someone doesn’t quite fancy you. I wonder why husbands don’t stand up for their wives in these situations. It would be better if she didn’t have any picture than cropped his wife out of the frame.
10. Mother-in-law furious because of her family moving away
How could someone even say these things to their loved ones? Based on the tone of her message, I would say they probably had a pretty good reason for moving away.
11. Gave her grandson a haircut on her own
Even if you’re a professional, please don’t change someone’s kid’s appearance before advising their parents first! This is one of the boundaries that should be respected. Do we really need to go over these basics?
12. Hair stylist’s or MIL’s fault?
What’s with these mother-in-laws, seriously? They want to be the center of attention so bad! But also, what kind of hairdresser neglects the bride on her wedding day to please someone who didn’t even hire her?

After an argument about U.S. politics, some things got out of hand. This man didn’t like his son-in-law’s opinion about political correctness. Is this really a civil way to act when you don’t agree with someone? I don’t think so.

Imagine you’re jealous someone didn’t ask you to make them a wedding cake because you can’t make them anyway. The funny thing is that the homemade cake still looked better and probably tasted better too!
15. Loves to drink other’s liquor but never restocks it
So, she loves to drink his whiskey but not to replace the empty bottles after, got it. Sounds like someone needs to be taught some basic etiquette or join an AA meeting in their hometown!
