“Your mind is a magnet. You don’t attract what you need or what you want; you attract who you are. And I love who I am!” – Carlos Santana
You have probably heard of the law of attraction a million times. Do you know what it means? Do you really believe that you attract what you are, not what you want in life?
The law of attraction fascinates me and I’ve thought about it a lot. I’ve thought about its meaning.
You attract what you are and what you think about, whether or not you want it. It’s truly like some magnetic power.
It’s a real thing. If you don’t believe in it, you do believe in science. Well, the law of attraction is explained scientifically.
Quantum physics teaches that there are no limitations and that nothing is fixed. Energy is everywhere around us. It starts in our thoughts and it ends up in things that we created with our thoughts.
Think about it. It helps your personal growth. It fills your life with positivity. It helps you to connect with your true self and motivates you to work on personal development.
Here are some things that will help you understand how this law of attraction works.
You get what you give
Wayne Dyer once said, “It’s not that people who make money become successful, but that successful people attract money. They bring success to what they do.” I couldn’t agree more with this.
If you really want something, you have to work hard to get it. In life, nothing is ever just handed over on a silver platter.
This is particularly specific to millennials. This generation doesn’t want to work only for a paycheck, they want to do something they’re passionate about.
If you want to get what you want, you have to believe strongly that you deserve it and work for it. You’ll see that hard work really pays off.
We attract what we really are, not what we are looking for
Do you ever wonder why your relationships fail each time? Do you think it’s your fault or do you blame the other person?
We all want to find that special, forever kind of love. We spend years seeking that special person and eventually, after many disappointments and broken hearts, we stop hoping.
The problem is that we never think about ourselves. We have to be honest and ask ourselves: Are we perfect? Do we have some flaws?
I am not afraid to admit that I’m not perfect. I am a human being and I have so many imperfections and flaws, as we all do.
The better you become, the better you’ll attract
Before you start searching for your other half, you have to find yourself. You have to work on yourself which includes both physical, mental, and emotional self-care. You have to make some changes in your own life.
Before you start searching for someone who’ll love you in a very special way, you have to know that self-love is the most important love of all.
There is always room for self-improvement. Work on your self-development and positive results will be there in no time too.
Focus on making the best version of yourself. Fall in love with yourself. Embrace all your flaws and imperfections and fall in love with them as well.
You’ll be able to attract the love you’ve been seeking all your life and recognize it once it comes only if you truly find love within yourself first.
Because loving yourself is the foundation for every other love you can have.
Like attracts like
We are attracted to those who have very similar personalities to ours.
For example, people with a low frequency – those who aren’t pleased with their lives – attract each other, while people with a high frequency – those who love and value themselves and enjoy life – also attract each other.
If you are in a good mood, you’ll make people around you happy too. If you’re cranky all the time, people around you will start to avoid you.
You attract what you’re ready for
If you want to find someone who’ll love you, then you have to be ready for it. If you are still thinking about your last relationship or still healing from it, then you aren’t ready yet.
Take some more time. I know that you must feel lonely, but that shouldn’t be a reason to jump into a new relationship, because it won’t be what you’re looking for.
Allow yourself to heal first. You have to process the past if you want something new. Your energy is negative right now, and you’ll attract only the same, negative energy.
You attract what you believe
“It is not what you want that you attract; you attract what you believe to be true.” – Neville Goddard
Your self-esteem and self-confidence are very important to you. If you believe in yourself, then you’ll know that you can do whatever you put your mind to.
If you know your worth, you’ll never allow anyone to treat you any less than what you deserve. Also, you’ll only attract people who are the same as that – positive and confident.
You put boundaries on how you like to be treated and spoken to, and you dare to speak out when necessary.
That’s why you have to work on yourself. You have to boost your self-esteem. You have to know your self-worth.
You have to be comfortable with who you are – your looks, weight, height, and everything that represents you.
Once you start believing in yourself, you’ll see how much you actually deserve. You might be surprised by what you’ll attract then.
Think positive and you’ll attract positive
Norman Vincent Peale said, “If you have zest and enthusiasm, you attract zest and enthusiasm. Life does give back in kind.”
Forget about the wrong people and all the negative things around you. Focus only on good people and things. You’ll see that your life will become more beautiful.
We all have a choice to make: to be happy or not. It’s all up to us. I know that life can be difficult sometimes, but again, it’s up to us. You can always find something bright even in the darkest times.
People with high frequency will attract the same.
If you have that positive vibe radiating from you, you’ll attract someone with the same positive energy to share your life with – to share happiness and love.
How to attract positive energy?
The first thing is that you have to think positively in every situation. You know that everything is temporary in life, right? So, why bother with the things that will pass anyway?
The key to attracting positive energy is to think positively in every situation. There is no hopeless situation.
Surround yourself with people who make you happy. Visit places that make you happy. Do things that you like and fulfill you. Do whatever helps you raise your vibration.
Don’t stress about the future too much. Accept life as it comes, because you can’t control everything that happens.
Our only reality is now, and worrying about the future constantly won’t allow us to fully enjoy the present.
Think of all the beautiful things in your life. Count your blessings. Do you see that you have many things to be happy about?
Don’t forget to be thankful to God for all of them. Gratitude is one of the biggest ways to attract positive energy to yourself.
Some people did you wrong and they deserve your contempt, but don’t hate anyone. Hate is a negative emotion and it sends only negative vibrations.
Invest your energy into falling in love with life. There is so much joy in the world, you just have to discover it.
There are so many people that bring joy to your life, and those are the ones you need to cherish the most.
Don’t be afraid to do something that you’re passionate about, even though others are saying that you’re going to fail.
Remember, you are your biggest cheerleader. You are your only limit.
Think positive, be positive, and you’ll attract positive.
