Quando parliamo di un uomo o di un donna di integritàdi solito intendiamo una persona moralmente coerente. L'integrità è la volontà di fare sempre la cosa giusta a tutti i costi.
Gesù era un uomo integro. Essere cristiani significa seguire l'esempio di Cristo.
God gives us integrity. It’s the seed of goodness in people that each person needs to cultivate.
Quando lo abbiamo veramente, nessuna tentazione può spezzarlo. A person with integrity can’t be compromised because it’s a part of their being.

That isn’t to say that it isn’t challenging – it takes great strength and conviction to decide to do good at any cost every day.
The temptation to walk the easy path is great, yet she resists it because she couldn’t live with herself otherwise.

A woman of integrity lives life guided by her principles. We’re going to examine them one by one, but all of them come down to always doing the right thing.
Good character and a good life don’t just happen. Vengono costruiti aderendo al standard e valori che si adattano a un codice morale in modo coerente e consapevole.
Essere una persona sana è un compito senza fine.
Let’s take a look at some examples of what a life of integrity is in practice.
1. L'altruismo
Una donna integra è più soddisfatta quando può fare qualcosa per gli altri. Her focus is on other people’s needs – she’s generous with her love, time, and resources.
Aiutare gli altri e migliorare la loro vita le dà felicità. Spesso mette i bisogni degli altri al di sopra dei propri.
Facendo di tutto per aiutare le persone, la sua compassione e la sua carità si esprimono attraverso le azioni invece che con le parole.
I suoi atti altruistici quotidiani dimostrano la sua dedizione a rendere il mondo un posto migliore.
2. Responsabilità
Abbiamo un responsabilità per le cose che possiamo controllare. Lei lo capisce e prende sul serio la responsabilità personale, sociale e professionale.
Svolge i suoi compiti con diligenza e impegno. Lavorare su questioni sociali è per lei un obbligo.
Le sue risorse e capacità vengono utilizzate per fare cose buone. She’s aware that her behavior has an impact on the world around her.

3. Responsabilità
If you ever found out and there were no consequences, would you do something that isn’t right? Our character shows what we do when no one but God is looking.
A woman of integrity doesn’t follow principles out of fear of punishment but because of her character. Her moral imperative is her will to do right.

Come una persona che lascia andare le cose e doesn’t hold grudges, she’s the first to offer forgiveness and look for reconciliation.
5. La pazienza
Because she’s a follower of la parola di Dio, she’s influenced by God’s own patience with humankind which inspires her to show mercy and restraint.
With her sense of understanding, she knows that people have their reasons for their actions, and she doesn’t judge. Mostra indulgenza verso coloro che la mettono alla prova.

A woman with integrity isn’t self-righteous.
Her virtuous life is something that comes from a feeling that she must do right. It’s inner peace and not recognition that she’s looking for.
God’s opinion is above everyone else’s for her. She strives to lasciar andare il suo ego. Her self-confidence doesn’t make her prideful.
By acknowledging that she isn’t always right, she apologizes when she’s wrong and listens to what people say. She gives credit where credit is due and doesn’t take other people’s glory.

Integrity supports doing good. Welcoming it into your life means that you’re always helping other people.

8. Rispetto
Una donna che vive la sua vita facendo sempre la cosa giusta apprezza gli altri e mostra loro rispetto.
Accetta le persone per quello che sono e le tratta con cura. She respects other people’s feelings, boundaries, and choices.
Sempre cortese e attenta, questa donna è una buona ascoltatrice. She’s considerate and shows appreciation.
Ha buone manieree il suo modo di esprimersi è attraverso la positività.
9. L'onestà
She tells the truth at all costs. She has the courage to say “no.”
A volte diciamo piccole bugie bianche per mantenere la pace o per far sentire le persone meglio con se stesse.
But when people become aware of this, it breaks their trust and makes them wonder what else we’ve been lying about.
Ciò che invece fa una donna integra è aiutarli. Un falso senso di benessere è temporaneo, ma il sostegno e l'accettazione rimangono.
10. L'affidabilità
I suoi indiscutibili valori morali la rendono irreprensibile. Chi la conosce sa di poter contare su di lei e di poterle affidare qualsiasi cosa.
Questa donna è onorevole, affidabile e mantiene la parola data. Quando promette qualcosa, fa quello che dice.
She’s the kind of person people can put their children, their valuables, and their secrets into her hands and have faith that she’ll take care of them.
11. Compassione
Ha fiducia nelle persone. Cerca di vedere il bene in ognuno e dà a tutti il beneficio del dubbio. She always has people’s feelings in mind.
Even when someone acts in a way that’s less than good, she understands that we don’t know what problems they may have in their personal lives that make them do it.
Comprensione e empatia sono importanti per lei, ma agisce anche. Quando altre persone soffrono, lei fa tutto il possibile per aiutarle.
12. L'autenticità
She’s always genuinely herself. Her moral compass guides her, and she has conviction in her beliefs. She’s true to herself even under pressure and expectations not to be.
Una donna integra è onesta riguardo alle sue opinioni e le comunica in modo sincero. This doesn’t mean that she’s cruel or unkind – she accepts people and shows goodwill but doesn’t hide herself.
Avere integrità significa che fare la cosa giusta è assoluto e avere autenticità significa che le sue decisioni e scelte sono in linea con i suoi valori.
