Dio ha un piano per tutti noi

Destiny. God created a plan – a destiny for every essere umano. È davvero così potente e nessuno può influenzarla molto.   

Alcune cose sono destinate ad accadere e prima o poi accadranno. Altre cose non accadranno mai, per quanto le vogliate e lottiate per ottenerle. 

Sometimes, there will be some difficult periods in your life and you’ll feel desperate because you can do nothing about it.

In queste situazioni, tutto ciò che si può fare è ringraziare Dio per tutto e chiedergli la sua benedizione in quei periodi bui. 

Rest assured, He’ll never give you more than you can handle. Trust God and put all your hopes in Him. He is the only one who can help you. 

Il potere della preghiera

If you’re experiencing something bad and painful, if you’re going through a rough patch, the only way you can help yourself is by praying to God. He’ll never let you down. 

Bisogna credere in il potere della preghiera because it’s truly the strongest weapon against pain and evil. That’s your protection. 

Also, don’t only pray to God when you have problems or are hurt. Pray to Him every night before you go to bed and thank Him every morning you wake up. 

Thank God for all the good things in your life, but also for the other, not-so-good things. Don’t feel angry or disappointed if He doesn’t answer your prayer immediately – or ever. 

He knows what’s best for you. Sometimes we aren’t aware of that which is bad for us, so we ask for them. God won’t give that to us because He always knows best. 

Se stessi

Credete sempre in voi stessi. Nella vostra forza interiore. Nella vostra bellezza. Nella vostra intelligenza. Nella vostra voce interiore. Nel vostro istinto. 

That’s the only way you can truly enjoy your life. Look in the mirror and tell it that you like every single piece of what you see. 

Mettete sempre voi stessi al primo posto. Non importa quanto amiate o teniate a qualcuno, non permettete mai a nessuno di prendervi in giro. 

Don’t lose yourself when you’re in a relationship. Don’t lose your identity – who you are. Never allow anyone to control you. You are your il proprio capo e solo voi potete controllare la vostra vita. 

Siate consapevoli del vostro valore. Dovete sapere quanto vi meritate e non accontentarvi mai di qualcosa di meno. 

Tutto inizia lavorando sul vostro autostima. Dovete dire a voi stessi che siete abbastanza coraggiosi, belli, intelligenti e che potete fare tutto ciò che volete.

L'amore della famiglia è per sempre

There are different kinds of love, but only one is definitely forever. It’s the love between family members. 

It’s the kind of love that moves the world. That’s undoubtedly the most perfect form of love. That strong bond between family members is a cosa bella. 

You don’t get to choose your family. God chose them for you – probably why family love is so perfect and important.

I veri amici sono un dono prezioso e raro

If you have a real friend, one person you know for sure will always be there for you, you’re a lucky essere umano. Believe me, true friends can’t be found so easily nowadays. 

Ci sono molte persone false là fuori. Ci sono molte persone che fingono di essere tuoi amici solo perché vogliono usarti o vogliono qualcosa da te. 

Un vero amico will never hurt you intentionally because they care for you and your well-being. They’re always honest with you, no matter what the situation is. 

Credono in voi e in tutto ciò che fate. Sono sempre lì per aiutarvi a rialzarvi quando la vita vi butta giù. That’s why friends are there. 

Se avete almeno un amico sincero, apprezzatelo e dimostrategli che anche voi credete in lui e nella vostra amicizia. Mostrate loro spesso quanto la vostra amicizia sia importante per voi. 

Ci sono ancora brave persone là fuori

You’ve probably been disappointed many times in your life. I’m sure many people have betrayed and failed you. 

Such awful betrayals from people you thought truly care for you can make you think that there are no good people anymore. Don’t think like that. It’ll only make you bitter and unhappy. It’ll make your life toxic. 

Anche se le persone mi hanno ferito tante volte, Lo faccio credere che ci siano ancora persone buone in questo mondo. E anche voi dovreste crederci. 

You’ll see that God will send someone in your life one day that will prove it. Someone that will make you forget about those terrible past experiences. 

One day, you’ll meet someone who’ll be so good to you, they’ll immediately restore your faith in humanity. Just wait and don’t give up on people. 

Good things will come…

…to those who wait. E davvero, questo credo con tutto il mio cuore. So che a volte la vita ti colpisce così duramente e pensi che non ci sia via d'uscita. 

Ma c'è e ci sarà sempre. Basta aspettare. Aspettare e pregare Dio per le sue benedizioni e la sua misericordia. 

Niente è permanente in questa vita. Tutto può cambiare in un solo momento. I momenti bui passeranno e arriveranno cose migliori. Lo prometto, basta avere pazienza. 

Amore a prima vista

Many people say that they don’t believe in amore a prima vista. Come si fa a non crederci quando ci sono così tante persone che si innamorano di qualcuno a prima vista? 

It’s just when you see that one person for the first time, you feel like your whole body is vibrating. 

Immediatamente si sentono le farfalle nello stomaco. Le pupille si dilatano. Nei vostri occhi appaiono quelle bellissime scintille d'amore. 

You can’t stop thinking about that person for days and fixate on when you’ll see them again. They become your main focus.   

I am also one of those people who believe in love at first sight – that’s exactly how I fell in love with my husband.

I’m telling you from my own experience that it is possible. It’s such a special and unique feeling, and I hope you will be lucky enough to feel it one day.

Don’t start thinking that love doesn’t exist only because it hasn’t found you yet. We all have our soulmates; it’s just a matter of time before yours will find you.

If someone hurts you or does something bad to you, forgive them. You’ll see how it will greatly improve your life. 

I agree that some people don’t deserve to be forgiven, but for your own well-being, do it anyway and let it go. 

Never hold grudges. It won’t do you any good. That bitterness and anger will make you frustrated and harm you in so many other ways. 

Il perdono vi renderà una persona migliore. Lasciare andare tanti sentimenti negativi vi renderà più calmi e in pace. 

Seconde possibilità

Siamo tutti esseri umani. We are all weak. That’s why we make mistakes. We hurt others or ourselves, sometimes even unintentionally. 

That’s why we all deserve a seconda possibilità. Perdonate tutti e date loro un seconda possibilità per dimostrare il proprio valore. 

A volte ne vale la pena, perché la persona a cui è stata data questa possibilità spesso la apprezzerà e cercherà di non tradire mai più la vostra fiducia.

A new beginning means a new chance of finding true love and happiness. You’ll explore everything again. You’ll give new meanings to things. You’ll see how amazing it’ll make you feel. 

Piccoli e casuali atti di gentilezza

Ci sono ancora persone che si alzano dai sedili dell'autobus per far sedere gli anziani. Ci sono ancora persone che aiutano i loro vicini anziani a fare la spesa o a fare i lavori domestici. 

There are still so many good people who like helping others – not because they expect something from them, but because helping others makes them happy. 

Queste persone sono così rare al giorno d'oggi, ma esistono. Mi fanno credere nell'umanità. 

Ogni volta che potete aiutare qualcuno o fare qualcosa di bello per qualcuno, fatelo.

Say “hello” when you see someone you know and ask them about their day. Smile to the cashier. Be patient and understand if the waiter doesn’t immediately serve you.

Dare senza aspettarsi nulla in cambio

If you want to give or do something nice for someone, you should only do so if you’ve decided honestly, from your heart, to do it. Don’t have some hidden motives behind that act. 

Dare aspettandosi qualcosa in cambio è così ipocrita. You won’t feel good about it and if you do, it would only mean that you’re actually a phony. 

La conoscenza è potere

I know we all have our dreams and goals for the future – things that we’ve dreamed about ever since we were little kids. 

Il fatto è che non si può fare nulla senza conoscenza. Qualsiasi cosa vogliate fare in futuro, dovete prima imparare a farla. 

Leggere. Utilizzare social media and the internet to learn about some new and interesting things. Learn a new language. You never know when you might need it, but I’m sure it will come in handy one day. 

Il duro lavoro paga sempre

Persone di successo didn’t become successful overnight. They dreamed about it and worked hard to achieve it. 

Se volete ottenere qualcosa dalla vostra vita, dovete lavorare sodo per ottenerlo. La strada per il successo è difficile, ma credetemi, alla fine ripaga sempre. 

Volete sapere come fare soldi e allo stesso tempo godersi il proprio lavoro? Trovate qualcosa in cui siete bravi e dedicatevi a quel lavoro.  

Pensate positivo e le cose buone accadranno

Siate sempre ottimisti. Solo irradiazione energia positiva. Fate sorridere gli altri. Siate quella persona che sorride sempre e che fa sentire gli altri a proprio agio intorno a voi.

Tutte le persone sono uguali. Dio ci ha creati tutti allo stesso modo. Non giudicate mai qualcuno in base al suo aspetto fisico o alle sue convinzioni. 

Everyone should have the same rights. After all, we have more similarities than differences. That’s the only way we can all prosper in life. 

We all have the same feelings. If you’ve ever judged someone based on their differences (even if you’ve only ever thought it), think about how you would feel if someone did the same to you. 

La musica può curare la tua anima stanca

Musica. Il modo migliore per rilassarsi e curare la propria anima stanca. Tutti abbiamo bisogno di riposare ogni tanto e la nostra anima è quella più stanca. 

Believe me. Put some music on right this moment. A song you really like… Do you feel it already? Your body is relaxed and your mind is cleared.

At this moment, you feel like you’re the only person on earth, right? Music is truly therapy. 

Il cioccolato è la migliore medicina

Qual è l'antidoto per un cuore spezzato? Il cioccolato. Qual è la cura quando qualcuno che vi è vicino vi fa del male o vi tradisce? Il cioccolato. E questo può davvero continuare. 

La conclusione? Il cioccolato è la migliore cura per tutto. (Aspettate, devo aggiungere anche il gelato, ovviamente!). 

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying that you should eat your sadness away – that’s definitely not healthy. But, a little chocolate doesn’t hurt.

Ci sono davvero alcuni cose belle in cui credere che possono rendere la nostra vita più soddisfacente e felice. Don’t underestimate the power of every single thing on this list.
