I know that there is a lot going on in your life right now. And I know you’ve been through even more. You have been nothing but kind to everyone around you but people used that. They used your emotions, your sensitivity, your generosity and kindness. But most of all, they used your empathy.

I don’t know if you are dealing with family issues, problems at work, or you are going through boy troubles. The essence is the same—life hasn’t been easy on you and you did nothing to deserve it.

You feel like you are surrounded by people only when they need something from you. You are always there to resolve everyone else’s problems but as soon as you need them, there is no one you can rely on. Suddenly, everyone is too busy to handle your issues and you are left without anyone in sight.

You’ve started seeing your emotions as your weakness and you began feeling like you simply can’t take it anymore. Everybody expects so much of you that you just can’t handle it. People expect you to look and behave in a certain manner and to fit inside their imaginary boxes.

But I am here to tell you that you are not alone. We all have our stories and our painful past. You may think that everyone else is having an easy life and that you are the only one struggling. But that could not be further from the truth. We all have our issues and some people are just better at hiding them but that doesn’t mean they are stronger or braver than those who are open about their pain.

I am here to tell you to never think about giving up on yourself. Remember, you are the most important person in your life. So cherish yourself, appreciate and respect yourself. And most importantly, love yourself before you love anyone else. Because you have a lot of reasons to do so.

You may think you are weak but you should actually be proud of yourself because of everything you’ve survived and for your incredible strength. You don’t know it yet but there is a strong woman inside of you, waiting to be embraced and discovered.

You don’t know it yet but there is a strong woman inside of you, waiting to be embraced and discovered.

You are strong because of everything you’ve carried on your shoulders. Despite it, you’ve managed to keep a smile on your face. You’ve been shattered into pieces many times but you are still keeping your head up despite everything, aren’t you?

You are strong because all of the people who violated your trust didn’t kill your faith in all of humanity. You still believe there is something good in everyone and that is your biggest strength.

You are brave because of everyone who has ever done you harm. Yes, you’ve been hurt more times than you can count but none of those people managed to turn you into a bitter, negative person.

You are strong because many tried to break you completely but nobody managed to rip your heart into pieces. Even if they did, you’ve been always strong enough to glue yourself back together.

If you still have doubts about your strength, there is something that will help you improve the strength of your character: Build strength of character from the inside – where the force is

I know everyone expects you to always be tough but it doesn’t mean that you are weak if you cry or if you show emotions. It doesn’t mean you are weak if you admit that someone has hurt you. It means you are brave enough to face your feelings and even braver for expressing them.

It’s OK to feel weak from time to time. It’s OK to doubt yourself sometimes. I know it’s easy to fall into despair when you are living in this world, which sometimes seems cruel and cold.

What you need to know is that there will always be good and bad days. There will always be toxic people on your path. I am sorry to be the one to break it to you but life won’t get any better. You’ll just learn to handle it more efficiently.

You may not know now your true strength and power but you’ll see it eventually. Whenever you doubt your power and strength, just think about your past. Think about all the things that you went through, about all the people who tried to break and diminish you. Think about all the days when you thought that your world had come to an end. How many times did you think that you couldn’t take it anymore? How many times did you think you were about to lose your mind and that you wouldn’t make it?

But you did make it through it all. You survived all of it, didn’t you? Even your most painful memory has become just that—a distant memory. It is all part of the past now.

And it can only serve you as a lesson. It should serve you as a reminder that you are an independent, strong woman who cannot be held down by anything. It should remind you that you are stronger than everything life puts in front of you. It should serve you as a reminder that you are a fighter, a survivor and that you should never give up.

Please, never forget that.

You Are Stronger Than Everything That's Bringing You Down
