It’s easy to love someone when they’re good to you.
It’s easy to love people that love you. It’s so easy to fall for someone who gives you the best of themselves and is there for you whenever you need it.
It’s never a problem to love somebody who’s laugh is contagious or who’s never moody or depressed.
It’s the easiest thing in this world to love someone who takes care of you—who you can always count on, no matter what.
But nobody is always sunshine and rainbows.
The person who hasn’t seen the dark days doesn’t exist. The person that always has things turning out the way she/he wants doesn’t exist.
There isn’t a person in this world that life hasn’t put a weight on.
So, when somebody tells you they love you and you’ve only shown them your good days, it’s not love—it’s the illusion of love.
You deserve someone who’ll understand your mundane side.
Loving you on your best days will never be a problem for anybody. Loving you when you’re smiling, loving life and seizing the day will be the easiest thing there is.
Everybody’s gonna want to be with you in those days.
But not everybody will stay when things get rough. Not everybody will be in or beside you when life decides to knock you down.
You deserve someone who’ll understand your mundane side and decide to stay.
What many people fail to understand is that life must get rough at some point. Things must turn around and you’ll probably fall a few times before you shine.
It’s just the way the things roll and you can hardly do much to change it—except to accept it and make the best of it.
You might lose your job. Depression can come with all her suitcases and move into your head without the slightest sign of leaving.
You can lose somebody who’s close to your heart or simply you can get fed up with the life you’re living now and wish to have more. As a matter of fact, anything can happen.
It might stop you from being the kindest person and make you forget how happy you once were. The shiny days might disappear one day and all that you’ll be left with is darkness.
That’s ok, we’ve all been there at least once.
But you need to understand that only those who are there for you on your darkest nights are the ones worth spending your brightest days with.
Hopefully, in those darkest moments, you’ll see who’s ‘your person’. In those darkest moments, you’ll be able to differentiate between those who love the idea of you and those who love you whole.
Because those who love you truly for who you are, who love even in your darkest days, are those who’ll stay—and that’s who you deserve.
You deserve someone who’ll see your dark side and decide to stay.
When you feel the least attractive in your life, you deserve to have someone who’ll see you as the most beautiful person in this world.
You deserve someone who’ll see your brokenness and who won’t run away. You deserve someone who’ll see your cracks and not think of them as ugly but as spaces to pour his love into.
You deserve someone who won’t expect you to be perfect, but who’ll accept you together with all of your imperfections and love you despite everything.
You deserve someone who won’t believe you when you say you’re not good enough.
You deserve someone who’ll kiss your insecurities goodbye and who’ll make you regret doubting yourself.
When your depression comes swimming to the surface, you deserve someone who won’t see you as crazy.
You deserve someone who won’t leave you to drown, but someone who teaches you how to swim again.
When you decide to give up, you deserve someone who’ll push you forward. And when you decide to push him away, you deserve someone who’ll push back and fight to stay.
You deserve someone who’ll know that you don’t really want him to go, but somehow you’re doing irrational stuff, so he’ll decide to just wait till the storm goes away.
You deserve someone who’ll love the mundane you. Someone who’ll understand that you had a rough day or week. Someone who’ll understand you don’t feel like getting out of bed.
Someone who gets that you just don’t feel like dressing up, straightening your hair and putting up your makeup on, but still see you as pretty as if you’re ready for a Friday night at the club.
You truly deserve somebody who’ll love the messy you as much as the ‘brightest days’ you. Because only then you’ll know that the love is complete.

And when you’re the most difficult to love, you deserve someone who’ll love you the hardest.
So, don’t settle for less. Wait for somebody who’ll love you for who you are, not an illusion of you.
Wait for someone who’ll ease your dark days and with whom you’ll look forward to the bright ones.
This guy exists and one day, if you don’t settle, you’ll meet him. Wait for this guy because one day you’ll be happy that you did.
